James Houghton is the Canal and River Trust’s Principal Geotechnical Engineer. A Chartered Geologist, he has over 23 years’ experience working on civil engineering projects in the UK, Australia and Papua New Guinea. In his current role he leads the Trust’s national geotechnical team, providing geotechnical support to project delivery and asset management.
