Alastair is Geotechnical Manager for the Balfour Beatty VINCI JV delivering Contracts N1/N2 of HS2 in the Midlands. In this role he has oversight of ground related design, assurance and construction activities along a 65km length of the high-speed route. Prior to this, Alastair led the Geotechnical Team within a main contractor providing temporary and permanent works designs for complex building and civils projects across the UK.
