Paul has extensive experience in the design, as well as construction and project management, both in the UK and overseas, on a variety of civil structures, transport rail, marine, air including stations and tunnelling projects associated with surface, underground, building structures (including oversite property development).
He has particular expertise in developing efficient permanent and temporary works schemes for underground structures. With this experience he has undertaken detailed building damage assessments, their site survey, investigation, alteration, appraisal and assessment for protective measures to existing buildings, ahead of and during tunnelling. His work has included oversite property development design above and adjacent to live, operational railways and existing tunnels. He has a particular developed experience associated with Instrumentation and monitoring associated with tunnel schemes.
His work on Bond Street Station Upgrade, has been used in a number of industry best practice references.
#His experience also includes a range of building damage assessment (within tunnelling schemes) structural assessment, design of upgrading and alterations to a range of structures including Military / Justice, Government and Diplomatic Embassy Buildings, as well as complex alterations / additions to existing Grade I and II listed buildings.
His experience includes design and construction associated with Marine Structures, as well as the more common building uses associated with Commercial (Office / Retail), Residential, Hotel, Education and Stadia.
