Tony is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer within the Ground Engineering & Tunnelling Practice of AtkinsRéalis and leads their Geo Asset Management Group. His particular field of interest in geotechnics is value engineering during design and construction, and geotechnical asset management. He has been fortunate to work across the full project lifecycle and across different markets, primarily in transportation, building & places, water, and nuclear. His previous roles include working for the M25 DBFO within their Geotechnical Asset Management Team, a geotechnical engineer within the On-Site Design Team for the A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon Improvement Scheme, and with Mott MacDonald within their Water Consultancy Division. Tony is currently seconded to Sizewell C’s Site Engineering Team as their Geotechnical Specialist. Beyond work, he is mentor for four graduate trainees seeking professional registration with the Institution of Civil Engineers, and the British Geotechnical Association’s Honorary Treasurer.
