Geraint Williams is an Associate Technical Director within HKA's Environment and Climate Change division and an Expert Witness with over 28 years of experience in contaminated land investigation, assessment, and remediation. He has particular expertise in PFAS-related matters, including complex litigation and dispute cases. Geraint is currently Chair-Elect of the Association of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists (AGS) and has previously served on the Executive Committee of the Society of Brownfield Risk Assessment (SoBRA), including as Chair of its Technical Panel. He is an active member of the National Brownfield Forum, which promotes the sustainable use of land and supports the development, dissemination, and adoption of best practice among regulators, practitioners, and landowners. He also serves on EH/4, the British Standards Institution (BSI) Technical Committee on Soil Quality, and contributes to the development of numerous European and international standards relating to land contamination.
