Matic Rifl, is a Geotechnical Engineer at Mott MacDonald specialising in digital ground modelling, geological interpretation, and geotechnical data analytics. As Geological Modelling Lead for the Beroun Tunnel project, he led the development of the integrated geological and geotechnical ground model, combining historical records, ground investigation data, and engineering interpretation within a traceable framework. He oversaw geological interpretation, domain definition, and analytical tools supporting ground characterisation and parameter assessment, helping to inform geotechnical assessments and risk-based engineering decisions along the 24.7km tunnel alignment.
